As per sources, the Buccaneers and Mike Evans talked about the contract extension, and his deal was not accepted by them. He is currently under a five-year extension contract with the team worth $82.5 million. After the end of the 2024 season, his contract with the team will end, and he will become a free agent.

Since he won’t be a part of the Buccaneers, the player can explore the free-agent option. Teams like the Falcons, Giants, Chargers, and many others can show interest in the player. As of now, he is a Buccaneer player who will represent the team for the entire season.
