Manu Ginobili, born on July 28, 1977, in Argentina started playing the game following his family’s affinity for the game. His official entry into the game happened back in 1995 for La Roja in the Argentine Basketball League. However, he later moved to his home team Estudiantes Bahia Blanca.

Ginobili then went international as he moved his game international. Manu signed up with
Basket Viola Reggio Calabria in Italy in the 1997-98 season. There he mixed up with some NBA players before San Antonio Spurs picked him up as the 57th pick in the 1999 draft.
