Last season, F1 witnessed several drivers perform impressively. Red Bull racing driver Max Verstappen and McLaren racing driver Lando Norris were two of them. Both drivers had an incredible season and gave their best for their respective teams. But what about them being teammates?
Recently, in an interview, Norris was asked about teaming up with Verstappen, and here is what he replied:
Lando Norris said:
“Is Max one of the best drivers ever in F1? Absolutely. Going against the best driver in the world is not a smart move.”

Here is the complete statement:
“Is Max one of the best drivers ever in F1? Absolutely. It takes time to get into place, and if you want to go against the best driver in the world, it is not the best thing to do. It is not a smart move to do.”
Now, thinking like Norris seems non-competitive but also true. Because Verstappen has been dominant in the past few seasons.
Undoubtedly, Verstappen is currently the best driver in the world. He is a beast in the Red Bull car, and no one has stopped him in the past couple of years. Last season, he won 19 Grand Prix, which is something that several F1 drivers haven’t achieved in their careers.
Moreover, he is only 26 and has won three F1 World Championships. The world isn’t ready for the havoc he will create in the upcoming seasons.
