“No, it didn’t disappoint me!” Carlos Sainz on being dropped by Ferrari

The motorsport world is in shock as Lewis Hamilton announced his exit from the Mercedes F1 Team after the 2024 season. He will represent them throughout the 2024 season and join Ferrari in 2025. Hamilton will be replacing Carlos Sainz and racing alongside Charles Leclerc.

This concludes that the 2024 season will be the last season with the Ferrari F1 team for Sainz, and he needs a new team for 2025. He has been phenomenal in the past few seasons and deserves to be in a better Formula 1 car.

When he was asked how he felt after getting dropped by Ferrari, here is what he replied.

Carlos Sainz said:

“No, it didn’t disappoint me.”

Here is the complete statement:

“I’m fine, calm; we are working for the future, but above all, for what we have ahead of us. No, it (on being dropped by Ferrari) didn’t disappoint me.”

Sainz has been phenomenal for Ferrari from the day he joined them. In three seasons, he has five poles, 16 podium finishes, and has won two Grand Prix. The 2022 season with Ferrari was his best because he scored 246 points, the highest in his F1 career.
