Two-edged praise by Sean O’Malley for Ilia Topuria

UFC 298 and 299 are set to host one title fight, respectively. One is for the UFC featherweight championship between Alexander Volkanovski (c) and Ilia Topuria. The second is for the UFC bantamweight championship between Sean O’Malley and Marlon Vera.

Either UFC might witness one or two new champions, or maybe none. Coming forward to their championship fights, Sean has two-edged praise for Topuria.

Sean O’Malley on Ilia Topuria said:

“Ilia is f**king dangerous. He is one of the best all-around martial artists. He is so f**king skilled.”

And concluded by saying:

“But I would also think I will put his lights out!”

Will the UFC witness Sean O’Malley vs. Ilia Topuria?

Topuria once competed in the bantamweight division but with the Cage Warriors. Later, he signed a contract with the UFC and has fought in the lightweight and featherweight divisions.

On the other hand, O’Malley has fought mainly in the bantamweight division. Moreover, O’Malley is the current UFC bantamweight champion. Similarly, Topuria is only one win away from winning the UFC featherweight championship.

If both fighters have a great run in their upcoming fights, we might see them face each other. O’Malley vs. Topuria is nowhere close to now. Maybe in the future, we might see them face each other.
