As mentioned above, four automobile producers provide engines to the F1 teams, i.e., Renault, Mercedes, Ferrari, and Hondo Powered Red Bull Powertrains.
- Alpine: Renault
- Racing Bulls (Alpha Tauri): Honda-Powered Red Bull Powertrains
- Red Bull Racing: Honda-Powered Red Bull Powertrains
- Haas: Ferrari
- Stake (Alfa Romeo): Ferrari
- Ferrari Racing: Ferrari

Only three teams, i.e., Red Bull, Ferrari, and Mercedes, have their engines. The rest depends on other teams or automobiles for engines.
However, the number of engine suppliers is expected to change from four to six in the 2026 season. If rumors are true, Red Bull will partner with Ford, and Honda will be a different team from the 2026 season. The sixth team will be Audi.
