Format
In this season’s competition, twelve teams play a round-robin format with seven home and away matches, followed by a “Super Round” at AAMI Park, Melbourne.
Each team has one bye and plays eleven regular round-robin matches, three derby/rivalry matches, and one bye over fifteen rounds. Teams earn four points for a win, two for a draw, and zero for a loss.
A bonus point is awarded for scoring three or more tries than the opponent or losing by seven points or less. The top eight teams advance to the finals series based on accumulated table points, with higher-ranked teams having home advantage.
