Jannik Sinner defeats Daniil Medvedev to win the 2023 Vienna Open

The Italian tennis star, Jannik Sinner defeated Daniil Medvedev in the finals of the Vienna Open 2023 to win his fourth ATP title of the season. Moreover, he defeated the World No. 3 ranking player, Daniil Medvedev, for the second time within a span of a month. This time, he defeated him by 7-67, 4-6, and 6-3 to be crowned the Vienna Champion.

For your information, this was their fourth encounter of the season, and all of them were in the finals of different tournaments. Medvedev had won two finals against him in the 2023 season, whereas, Jannik Sinner had won only one. With this win, the scores are level for the 2023 season. Summary of the 2023 Vienna Open Finals

Sadly, he couldn’t keep the momentum, and amazing gameplay by Medvedev resulted in him losing the second round by 4-6.

It all came down to the final set of the game, and both players weren’t ready to lose the match. At the halfway point, the scores were Medvedev 2 and Sinner 3. Well, Jannik Sinner decided to go hammer time and dominated the next rounds, winning the set and finals by 7-67, 4-6, and 6-3.
