Richard Mille’s first partnership with Ferrari is already breaking records. As a part of its marketing and Leclerc‘s undying passion for looking dashingly stunning, the Monacan sported the look. Leclerc uploaded a picture of him wearing the world’s thinnest watch in his Instagram Stories.
Charles is known to sport Richard Milles quite often. It was a Richard Mille which was stolen in Italy a couple weeks before. The Monegasque looks chipper in a black blazer. In addition, He augments his look with a designed tie and messy quiff.
After the Austrian Grand Prix, the Monegasque came to Monaco to relax. He shared Instagram pictures of him swimming in the sea with the watch on. The young Monacan aboarded a Riva Yacht. He wore just a pink floral shorts and a RM 35-03 which has an automatic winding rotor. Amusingly, The watch is known as the Rafael Nadal Watch.
Richard Mille and The Watch
Richard Mille is a venerated Swiss luxury watchmaker based in Les BreLEux, Switzerland. The company was founded in 2001 by Dominique Guenat and Richard Mille. The latter is also the chairman of The Endurance Committee of the FIA.
The latest timepiece RM UP-01 Ferrari is definitely an eye-candy. It is first watch to come out of the partnership between the racing giant and the luxury house. The watch has a thickness of exactly 1.75 millimetres. It has unseated the Bulgari Octo Finissimo Ultra to take over the position of world’s thinnest watch.
The Cushion-Shaped Face of The World’s Thinnest Watch
The cushion-shaped face of the watch is 51 mm wide and 39 mm from top to bottom. The look resembles the dashboard of a race car. Bezel is used to make the face. It has a small, sapphire-covered central dial that displays the time, two integrated crowns (one winds the watch, the other selects a function), and Ferrari’s recognisable Prancing Horse insignia on the right and left, respectively.
The Price and Other Details
When it finally goes on sale, the RM UP-01 Ferrari will only be made in 150 pieces. Obviously, it will cost a whopping $1.88 million. It costs a lot more than the $407,000 Octo Finissimo Ultra. We’ll see how long Ferrari’s and Richard Mille’s clock can maintain that distinction. Eight times, Bulgari has already smashed its own record for the thinnest watch in history.
