Will Ferrari be able to claim their first victory at Red Bull Ring??

Ferrari is currently second on the constructors table. They trail behind Red Bull by 58 points

Red Bull Ring was inaugurated in 2014. Since inception, 8 races have been held at the circuit. The winners were either Mercedes and Red Bull racers. Ferrari have not won a race here. They will be looking forward to clinch the first victory at Spielberg, Austria.

Nico Rosberg won the inaugural two races in 2014 and 2015. Hamilton won the Prix in 2016 while Bottas claimed the title in 2017 and 2020. The Dutch racer Max won it thrice, in 2018, 2019 and 2021. Mercedes won it five times while Red Bull won it thrice.

Ferrari have had a nice season this year. They are performing at their best all along. Charles Leclerc found solid ground in the initial races of the season. He lose his momentum in the middle of the season. However he seems to have regained control over his game.

The Monegasque have scored 138 points so far in the tournament. The key drawback of the racer is his inability to convert pole positions into victories. However, it is not always his fault, but the poor strategy by the team. The poor strategical movements done by the team has also caused huge distress to the fellow driver Sainz.

Carlos Sainz have had a rocky start to the season. Nevertheless, the Spaniard rose to his full capacity. He made it to the podiums consequently and he won his first win. Sainz was crowned champion at Silverstone. He is currently placed fourth below Leclerc. Both of them have a meagre point variance.

Poor Strategy of Ferrari

Ferrari has the best vehicle in the championship. They have terrible fast speeds and agility. The prancing horses however have the worst strategy and planning in the paddock. They fail at every race. If not for the strategical issues, Ferrari would have been on top.

It is with horror that every Ferrari fan look back on the pit box incident. Ferrari has to real up their strategical team if they need an improvement. The first victory is possible but difficult
