F1 Drivers will play a charity match in tribute to Michael Schumacher

An all star German athlete cast will tie their boots against the F1 team led by F1 Besties Mick Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel. The fourth annual match will take place on 24th of August at Frankfurt’s Waldsadion. The match will pay tribute to Michael Schumacher, F1 legend and the father of Mick Schumacher.

The legendary driver had a skiing accident in 2013. He has been in public ever since. The gossips says that he is recovering from the coma he suffered. Neither his presence nor his absence is confirmed. Although, several German big names and celebrities will show up.

The opposition is led by the German basketball professional Dirk Nowitzki. Nowitzki is known as one of the best European basketball players of all time. At 7 feet, he played a 21 year long career at Dallas Mavericks leading them to championship in 2011. Joining him in the match will be German football icon Mat Hummels. The match played in tribute to Michael Schumacher will feature Chelsea forward Timo Werner. The squad also consists of World Cup winners Lukas Podolski and Sami Khedira.

The F1 squad is yet to announce the gang. But we sure are excited to see the boys rolling with the ball. On the occasion, we remember the boys playing football inside during the rain spoiled Belgian Grand Prix 2021.
