Barcelona Transfer Rumors, Inigo Martinez and Gundogan Are Under Radar

Barcelona being one of the most successful clubs in the European football scene is always looking to strengthen its squad. Despite reports suggesting the Blaugranas won’t be able to sign any new players this summer due to LaLiga’s strict Financial Fair Play regulations, speculations keep on lingering around the club. 

Reports suggest Barcelona are keen on bringing back their talisman from PSG, with Messi’s future still uncertain. The recent World Cup winner’s contract with PSG ends this summer and Messi is yet to ink his contract extension. Interviews with Barcelona players suggest that the dressing room is excited about a Messi return in what could be a fairytale ending for the little Argentine genius.

In other news, the Blaugranas are trying to sign Gundogan as a free agent. They are expected to offer him a two-year contract and are optimistic about finding an agreement.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona has reportedly signed the 31-year-old Athletic Bilbao defender Inigo Martinez. With so many defenders injured it’s not a surprise that Xavi would like to add Martinez to an already strong backline. 

With Lewandowski entering the twilight of his career, Barcelona is looking to bring in the Brazilian striker Victor Roque. Still only 18, Victor is considered to be an elite talent with many big clubs monitoring his situation. 

One of the most reliable journalists Fabrizio Romano has reported that despite Barcelona being interested in the Leipzig star Dani Olmo, their priorities for the summer are different. Barcelona has been monitoring Olmo since the summer of 2020 and can definitely make a move for him in the future.

Although having big money transfers would be difficult for Laporta due to their financial troubles, you can never say impossible in football.
