Paul Pogba, a midfielder for Juventus, discussed his time playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United last year.
Both players have played for Juventus throughout their careers and have spent time at Old Trafford twice. In the summer of 2021, the legendary player from Portugal returned to Manchester United on a two-year contract.
He played on the pitch with Pogba 20 times as a teammate during the 2021–22 season. This was the only season the two were teammates, despite having a close connection with Manchester United and Juventus.

Paul Pogba on Cristiano Ronaldo discipline:
However, it was sufficient for the France international to determine Cristiano Ronaldo’s perspective on the game. He said as reported by the Field of Sports (via Daily Mail):
“Ronaldo’s discipline was unimaginable; I’ve never seen anything like it. The level of discipline has increased. I see a lot of professional athletes that are really professional, show there early, and do things like rest.”
Pogba continued: “This summer, I left United for Juventus on a free transfer for the second time in my career.”
“But Cristiano is someone who has been there every day and keeps going. Each day! You may feel fine for some days. But he never skips a day. His commitment to doing it each day is noteworthy.”
This season, the mentality and discipline of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner have drawn attention. He and manager Erik ten Hag were at odds, and he said that the Dutch strategist didn’t deserve his respect because he didn’t feel it from him.
Numerous UEFA Champions League participating clubs reportedly received offers for Cristiano Ronaldo, but none of them decided it was appropriate to sign him. He departed the Red Devils last month by mutual consent, and since then, rumors of a transfer to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia have circulated.

Pogba described the type of coach Ferguson was when playing
He told Field of Stories, “He wasn’t doing, it wasn’t the coach like you see now with Pep Guardiola that is more talking.”
‘He wasn’t like that,’ I said. He didn’t need to do that since he had the personnel and the players.
When asked if his old rival, who was in charge for 27 years and won 38 trophies, would be successful in the modern game, Pogba responded,
“If he has the staff and people and players (as he did), definitely.”
