Former Burnley Boss Sean Dyche is expected to become the new manager of Everton

It is unclear what terms will be agreed upon regarding the duration of the contract, Dyche is the front-runner and is unlikely to only want a short-term arrangement.

In place of the recently sacked Frank Lampard, Sean Dyche is anticipated to be named as Everton’s new manager. As The Toffees want to appoint their new manager before the weekend.

Following discussions with Everton’s management, Dyche and former Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa emerged as the top two candidates. The former Burnley manager is currently in the lead, contrary to initial perceptions that Bielsa was the owner Farhad Moshiri’s preferred choice. 

The 67-year-old Bielsa expressed concerns regarding taking over in the middle of the season and whether the team would be able to handle his intense and physically taxing style.
