As the summer transfer window draws closer and closer, we take a look at the biggest and most unexpected transfer rumors surrounding Bundesliga players this season. Some big names like Sadio Mane and Randal Kolo Muani have already been linked with big-money transfers. Here are the top transfer stories surrounding Bundesliga stars-
- In a shocking turn of events, Bayern Munich are ready to part ways with marquee signing Sadio Mane after merely 12 months. The Senegal international joined the Bavarians for a deal worth around £35m from Liverpool last summer, but has failed to live up to the expectations set for him. Mane has managed just 7 goals and 4 assists in 22 Bundesliga outings this season. Off the field relations between Mane and the club haven’t helped things with him receiving a suspension following the physical altercation with Leroy Sane. Thomas Tuchel is apparently keen on offloading the 31 year-old and bringing in a new striker to help turn Bayern’s form around. - According to a recent report, Frankfurt are against letting both Randal Kolo Muani and Jesper Lindstrøm go this summer. Kolo Muani especially has been linked with a move away for months, especially to Bayern Munich but the striker doesn’t seem to be pushing for a move as of now. Frankfurt are expected to ask for a price in the range of around £120m for the French number 9. Lindstrøm on the other hand may cost any interested clubs about £30m. Eintracht boss Markus Krösche though, is very keen to keep at least one of them at the club.
- VfL Wolfsburg have confirmed their first signing of the 2024/24 season with Swiss defender Cedric Zeseiger joining their ranks. The 24 year-old will move to the Volkswagen Arena on a 4-year deal from Young Boys. Zeseiger shows tremendous composure and tenacity for his age and is sure to only improve as a center-back for a big German club such as Wolfsburg.
