Although Bayern continue to be heavily invested in bringing Harry Kane to the Allianz Arena, the Bavarians are aware negotiations regarding the same aren’t going to be easy with Spurs constantly pushing for a contract extension for Kane. The absence of Robert Lewandowski is still being felt by the club as both Sadio Mane and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting have failed to provide Bayern with the impetus needed to compete in both Europe and the Bundesliga. Kane is still very much open to a move to newer avenues but will hold off on making a decision until Tottenham appoint a new head coach and Director of Football.
Bayern though, want to move swiftly in their search for a new goalscorer and are now looking at Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani. Frankfurt though are keen to hold onto the Frenchman’s services and are bound to ask for a fee in the region of €100m. A fee, that Bayern would be unwilling to meet but talks are ongoing as of now.

When asked to comment on the possibility of Kolo Muani making the switch to Bayern, head coach Thomas Tuchel had this to say-
“I cannot confirm that [he is a target]. I wouldn’t confirm it even if it were the case. At the moment, that’s not a topic.”
Kolo Muani has been in exceptional form this season, breaking into the French national team too and almost winning them the World Cup before being denied by a spectacular Emi Martinez save. The 24 year-old joined Frankfurt from Nantes last summer and has since then scored 21 goals in 41 games and has been ever-present in their pursuit for a European spot.
