The Golden Glove went to Emiliano Martinez, who shined spectacularly for the Blues and Whites. He was instrumental in Argentina’s wins including yesterday where he saved a last-minute one-on-one and two penalties.

Kylian Mbappe, after an unbelievable hat trick in the finals, led the goal-scoring race with 8 goals. He was awarded the Golden Boot. Argentine Captain Lionel Messi won the silver with 7 goals and Oliver Giroud took the Bronze Boot.

The GOAT race concluded with the Golden Ball given away to Lionel Messi for his stellar performance throughout the World Cup. French wunderkind Kylian Mbappe won the Silver Ball while Luka Modric won the Bronze Ball.

The English came for a trophy but couldn’t manage the trophy. However, the FIFA Fair Play Award went to The Three Lions. Gareth Southgate led England had the fewest bookings. The Maguire yellow in the QFs v/s England was the only card they got the whole season.

    Lionel Messi realized the dream he intended, ever since the Mario Gotze goal pierced every Albiceleste heart eight years ago.
