4 Countries which are Unbeaten in FIFA World Cup 2022

Only Four Counties—Netherlands, England, Croatia, and Morocco came out of the group stage at FIFA 2022 Unbeaten.

No Countries with Unbeaten records are in the FIFA 2022 group stage for the first time since the 24-team 1994 Football World Cup.

Brazil was the last of the 32 teams (the 32-team format was introduced in 1998) in Qatar to secure an all-win qualifying to the round of 16, but on November 3, it suffered a 1-0 loss to Cameroon in its last group match.

Given that Spain won in 2010 and Germany won four times, this statistic highlights how unpredictable the game can be. Argentina, a two-time winner, also struggled against Saudi Arabia. Having lost to Morocco, the Germans and third-placed Belgium exited the group stage USA, who could be that fourth team unbeaten, lost to Netherlands in the Round of 16.

Only Four Counties—Netherlands, England, Croatia, and Morocco came out of the group stage at FIFA 2022 Unbeaten. Since the 32-team format began, this is the smallest number of teams still unbeaten in the group stage.

Let’s look at these four countries, who are Unbeaten in FIFA 2022.

4 Countries Unbeaten in FIFA World Cup 2022

Netherlands

By winning two and drawing one of its three games, the Netherlands finished first in Group A. To earn 7 points; they drew with Ecuador while defeating Senegal and the host nation Qatar.

By defeating the United States 3-1 on Saturday at the Khalifa International Stadium, the Netherlands became the first nation to advance to the World Cup quarterfinals. Additionally, being undefeated increases their risk and poses a severe threat to the team taking on the Netherlands in the quarterfinal.

The Dutch’s biggest test will probably come in the Quarterfinal against Lionel Messi’s Argentina. The outcome of this crucial matchup will have a significant impact on the tournament, and if the Netherlands defeat Argentina, they will be heavy favorites to win it.

England

The Three Lions have enjoyed a smooth group stage. Gareth Southgate’s team won Group B after beating Wales 3-0, beating Iran 6-2, and drawing with the United States. Free-scoring With a 3-0 victory over Senegal on Sunday, which included captain Harry Kane’s first World Cup goal, England extended their unbeaten streak against African nations and advanced to a quarterfinal matchup with holders France. In the semi-finals, England might play either Spain, the runners-up from Group E, or Portugal, the winner of Group H, assuming they can defeat the reigning champions in the quarter-finals. Another unexpected foe might be Morocco.

The five-time champions will probably face England in the title match if they win the final and semifinals.

Croatia

The World Cup hasn’t gone well for Croatia thus far. They could not display the unexpected element they had in Russia four years prior. Although they went undefeated in the group stage, they finished behind Morocco in Group F.

Croatia’s journey is predicted to end in the quarterfinals after beating Japan in the round of 16. Brazil is the opponent they are meant to face in the quarterfinal, and it seems improbable that they will prevail. But if they succeed, they will play either Argentina or Netherlands in the semifinals, which appears like a nearly impossible challenge for Modric and the company. They did this in 2018.

Morocco

This World Cup’s biggest surprise has been Morocco. The Atlas Lions overcame Belgium and Canada, respectively, to advance to the round of 16, and also to win Group F after a scoreless tie with the runners-up from last year’s competition, Croatia. The ‘old’ generation of Belgians eventually lost because of their unexpected surge.

In this World Cup, Morocco will believe there are still some surprises left to pull off. They’re going up against Spain, who played outstanding football in both of their group-stage victories, one by a score of 7-0. However, Japan of Asia gave Spain a reality check in the final group match, and Morocco will attempt to repeat that strategy.

The Atlas Lions could play Portugal in the quarterfinals if they can defeat Spain. For Morocco, this will be a difficult encounter and might be their final match in Qatar. However, they will always try to trouble Ronaldo and the company.
