Following the success and conclusion of the BGMI Masters Series on July 17, Krafton has now announced the commencement of the new BGMI Showdown 2022 LAN event. Besides, this event is the first-ever BGMI LAN event since its release last year. Moreover, Fans around the world can watch the live action on the official BGMI channels of YouTube and Loco at 4 pm IST from July 21 to July 24.
Participating Teams in BGMI Showdown 2022 LAN Event
A total of 24 invited teams are set to participate in the first-ever official BGMI 2022 LAN event held in Delhi. The 24 teams will be divided into 3 groups of eight. Moreover, the top 16 teams from the group stages will go ahead in the final round of the BGMI LAN event.

However, if Team Soul wins the upcoming BGMI LAN event, they will not be making their way into Week 2 of the PMWI 2022. This is because team Soul is already a part of the Week 1 event. So, if team Soul has to make their way to Week 2, they must finish in the top 5. This means if team Soul wins the upcoming BGMI Showdown 2022 LAN event, the second-placed team will feature in PMWI Week 2.

Krafton has revealed the casters and Analysts of the upcoming BGMI Showdown 2022 LAN event through an Instagram post on their official Instagram handle. While casters will lend their voice to the LAN event for the fans to gain insight regarding players, teams, matches, and stats, the analysts will analyze the intricate details of every single match.
Krafton has acquired Piyush Bhatla, Ocean Sharma, Ankit Pandey aka Ankiibot, and Zishan Alam aka Mazy for Hindi commentary whereas Angad Singh Chahal, Arun Sagar, and ISuperJonny for English commentary. Besides, all these names have cast multiple Pubg and BGMI tournaments and know how to attract the crowd’s attention to the live streams.
