Hat-trick in any sport is considered a great accomplishment, whether it would be a hat-trick of goals in football or a hat-trick of wickets in cricket. As the format becomes shorter in cricket, the possibility of you getting a hat-trick rises. Even though deceiving the three batters on consecutive deliveries is a difficult task. We will look at those players with more than one hat-tricks in the IPL.

List of players with more than one hat-tricks in IPL

Yuvraj Singh 

Yuvraj Singh 1st Hat-trick: This all-rounder from Punjab has 2 hat-tricks in his IPL career. The first hat-trick was against RCB in 2009 when Yuvi was playing for Kings XI Punjab. His bowling figures show figures of 3/22. In the same game, Yuvraj scored a quickfire 50 off 34 balls.

Yuvraj Singh 2nd Hat-trick: Yuvi once again stunned everyone by picking his 2nd hat-trick of the season. This match was against Deccan Chargers. This time the figures were even more economical. He conceded just 13 runs for 3 wickets.

Amit Mishra

Amit Mishra 1st Hat-trick: Amit Mishra, the all-time 3rd highest wicket-taker in IPL has the maximum number of hat-tricks in IPL history. He has 3 of them. Bowlers find it hard to have one hat-trick and this man flaunts 3 figures of a hat-trick. Amit’s first hat-trick was against Deccan Chargers in 2008. He took 2 extra wickets other than the first hat-trick and sported the figure of 5/17. 

Amit Mishra 2nd Hat-trick: Three years later, he took his 2nd hat-trick. This time he was representing Deccan Chargers and the opponents were Kings XI Punjab at the picturesque ground of Dharamsala. 

Amit Mishra 3rd Hat-trick: Fast forward to 2011, Mishi Bhai surely had his best IPL outing. He took a hat-trick playing for SRH and another wicket to round off the over with 4 wickets. This incredible bowling spell was the major factor in the winning cause of SRH which was defending just 119 runs. Amit also scored valuable 30 runs off 24 balls to take SRH’s total above 100.

Other than these two gentlemen, 15 bowlers have achieved this feat once in their IPL career.
