A series of bizarre Tweets were posted on the Twitter Handle of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, however, it was a marketing strategy. This left fans amused because of the randomness of the tweets. People started believing that Hitman’s account have been hacked. the first tweet was- “I love coin tosses…especially when they end up in my belly!” apart from leaving people startled, this also gave a good topic for memers. This was shortly followed by another random tweet “Bzz….! Did you know? Buzzing beehives make for great boxing bags!” Later, fans started placing bets that another such Tweet will shortly follow, and it actually did- Cricket balls are edible…right?” Not just fans, but notable personalities like Yuzvendra Chahal and Harsha Bhogle were also left stunned. Yuzi questioned if the Twitter Handle of Rohit Sharma was hacked. As a result, Yuzi questioned “Bhaiya? What’s happening, sab theek hai na?”
After a whole day of suspense, another tweet was made upon Rohit’s Twitter account. This cleared that this was a rather very creative marketing strategy and Rohit Sharma was a part of the advertisement for the brand Future Generali. Future Generali is an insurance company that covers Vehicles, Health, and other insurances. So, it was for their “Good dogs can make bad decisions” campaign, that the Twitter handle of Rohit Sharma was used for their marketing strategy. Therefore, a series of Tweets were posted on his Twitter handle, showing how a dog can sometimes create chaos. Moreover, they wanted to convey that this can also lead your pets to some kind of trouble. Thus, the brand was promoting health insurance for pet dogs.

Rohit Sharma as the Indian captain
Since he took charge of the Indian team as a full-time captain, he has been on a winning streak. His great captaining skills were very well known since he has captained the IPL team Mumbai Indians for almost a decade now. India won three back-to-back bilateral series under newly-appointed skipper Rohit. However, not everyone is equally happy, as he hasn’t performed great with the bat recently.
