‘Non-Stop Cricket’ Sony Sports Network launches campaign featuring Smriti Mandhana and Pankaj Tripathi

Smriti Mandhana and Pankaj Tripathi come together to promote the non-stop cricketing action on the sports network.

Sony Sports Network has launched its new campaign for its cricket campaigning that features Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi and cricketer Smriti Mandhana. The campaign titled ‘Non-Stop cricket on Sony Sports Network’ consists of three video films, one of which has been released.

The campaign talks about eating, sleeping, and breathing cricket. Shot at multiple locations and in different avatars, Mandhana, is seen โ€˜servingโ€™ non-stop cricket to Tripathi, indicating that he can look forward to multiple cricket series and tournaments that will be telecasted on the sports network.

Sony Sports Network and Smriti Mandhana serve Pankaj Tripathi non-stop cricket

For the first time, audiences will get to see one of Indiaโ€™s finest cricketers, Smriti Mandhana, and Bollywoodโ€™s most talked-about actor, Pankaj Tripathi, come together to promote the non-stop cricketing action on the sports network. The campaign also emphasizes the cricket roster on the network with the apt tagline โ€˜AB CRICKET FANS KE PAAS HAI CELEBRATION KA BIG REASON, KYUNKI SONY PE DIKHEGA CRICKET KA FULL SEASON!โ€™.

The first film talks about eating, sleeping, and breathing cricket. Shot at multiple locations, Mandhana is seen in different avatars, serving non-stop cricket to Tripathi, who plays the role of a fan, indicating that he can look forward to multiple cricket series and tournaments that will be coming up on the Sony sports network.

Rajesh Kaul, chief revenue officer, distribution, and head โ€“ of sports business, Sony Pictures Networks India, said on the campaign.

Sony Sports Network has a busy calendar coming up with 1800+ hours of live cricket action across their channels which includes bilateral Menโ€™s and Womenโ€™s cricket series, international leagues, and more. The campaign stands out from other conventional cricket campaigns as for the first-time viewers will see one of Indiaโ€™s biggest women cricketers helming the campaign for all formats of Menโ€™s and Womenโ€™s cricket.

The ad has been released on the network’s sports channels and social media platforms and is receiving great responses.
