Indian speedster and T20 specialist Jasprit Bumrah has officially ruled out of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. BCCI on Monday announced the downcast statement yesterday considering Bumrah’s severe back injury. The 28-year-old star Indian bowler for the first time shared an ardent note about missing out on the marquee tournament.
Jasprit Bumrah penned,
Bumrah’s absence will certainly affect Rohit Sharma-led Men in Blue. Since the team already lacks in death bowling. Hence, a massive blow for team India ahead of the most awaited tournament.
According to reports either Mohammad Siraj or Mohammad Shami will replace Bumrah in the Indian squad. However, an official statement is yet to be made.
