Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Kuldeep Yadav made an impact on a surface that helped them limit a self-destructive New Zealand to 99 for 8.

In the second T20I of India vs New Zealand in Lucknow, India repaid New Zealand for trapping them in their spin in the first T20I. After the first 10 overs, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Washington Sundar, and Deepak Hooda have all scored runs, leaving New Zealand at 48/4. Eventually, New Zealand was limited to a score of 99/8, but the Kiwis made sure that India would not have a peaceful time chasing that score. Only Suryakumar Yadav’s four off the fifth delivery of the 20th over gave India the victory as they punished the hosts for every minor error they made running between the wickets.
