On Thursday, ICC announced nominees for the Player of the Month for October 2022. This award is presented every month to the player chosen by avid cricket fans all around the world. While Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan and Indian woman captain Harmanpreet Kaur sealed ICC Player of the Month for September. Fans can continue to vote every month for their male and female cricketers across all formats of international cricket.

Three players have been nominated for the prestigious award, given their exceptional performance throughout the month.
Indian star batter Virat Kohli
Coming out of a bleak patch, the 33-year-old superstar player only played four innings last month. However, he agitated three magical knocks. His 82 not out against arch-rival Pakistan in the ongoing T20 World Cup will forever be remembered.
Overall, Kohli accumulated 205 T20I runs in October month at a mind-boggling average of 205 and an even astonishing strike rate of 150.73.
South Africa’s David Miller
