It’s time for the RED vs ORANGE army!! The 52th match of IPL 2021, scheduled at Sheikh Zayed Stadium was between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Two elegant batters leading their team will fight for the win. So let’s have a look at the match briefing. Although SRH started off well, RCB managed to restrict the team to 141 runs. Brilliant bowling from the purple cap holder and other bowlers. However SRH managed to clinch the victory by defeating RCB by four runs. RCB vs SRH Man of the Match:

To begin with the match, RCB won the toss and chose to field first. Although SRH lost their opener in the second over, the other two batters balanced the game. Jason Roy and Kane Williamson built a strong partnership. Jason Roy scored 44 off 38 while Williamson scored 31 off 29 and led the team. Despite these brilliant efforts, the team tumbled to 141 for 7 from 105 for 2. Terrific bowling from the RCB bowlers as they clinched wickets after the first half. Dan Christian bowled at an economy of 4.6 and took 2 wickets. Also Harshal conceded 33 runs and took 3 wickets.

In the second innings, RCB didn’t get a good start as they lost 2 wickets till the 4th over. Virat Kohli was dismissed only for 5 runs while Dan Christian at 1 run. However Devdutt Padikkal gave his best shot to maintain the momentum. He played according to the situation and scored 41 off 52 balls. Despite the effort, other team batters failed and collapsed. As a result, RCB lost the match. Splendid bowling by SRH as they managed to restrict RCB from chasing the target.  SRH won the match by 4 runs after a magnificent death bowling by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. 

Man of the Match in RCB vs SRH match

The New Zealand ace batter Kane Williamson bags the Man of the Match award for his crucial innings. He scored 31 off 29 balls to give SRH a good start. Brilliant captaincy skills shown by him also helped SRH to seal the victory. They defeated RCB by 4 runs and registered their third win for the season.
