Intriguing battle between two best wicketkeepers!! The 50th match of IPL 2021, scheduled at Dubai International Stadium was between Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings. While DC is at the 2nd position, CSK stands at first position in the points table. Both the teams have the same number of points with a slight difference in run rate. So let’s take a look at the match summary. Terrific bowling spells from DC, they restricted CSK to just 136. DC vs CSK Man of the Match: The batting collapsed and thus CSK was able to put up only 136 on the board. Although with difficulty, at last DC won the match by 3 wickets.

To begin with the match, DC won the toss and chose to bowl first. The bowlers turned out things in their favor and gave a hard time to batters. The openers were unable to build a partnership and the top order collapsed. The team tumbled to 62 for 4 till the 8th over. While Axar Patel picked 2 wickets and conceded just 18 runs. Ashwin conceded 20 runs and dismissed Robin Uthappa. However after the collapse Ambati Raydu batted wonderfully and scored 55 off 43 to help the team.

In the second innings, DC got a decent start. However they also started losing wickets in regular intervals. Shikhar Dhawan gave his best shot but was able to score 39 off 35. The match was a whirlpool of emotions as there were countless twists. Although CSK bowlers tried to restrict DC, Shimron Hetmyer snatched the match. He smashed a gutsy knock of 28 runs off 18 balls to take DC out of the muddle. On the other hand, Shardul Thakur bowled brilliantly at an economy of 3.25. He clinched two wickets and conceded just 13 runs. Despite the effort, DC won the match by 3 wickets and 2 balls left.

The all rounder Axar Patel bags the Man of the Match award for his incredible bowling spell. He clinched two big wickets of Du Plessis and Moeen Ali, who could be way too disastrous. Brilliant bowling efforts helped DC to restrict CSK to 136 and seal the victory.
