Following his victory over MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura, Floyd Mayweather has scheduled his next exhibition match against YouTube star Deji for November 13 in Dubai. Floyd Mayweather vs Deji is now official for November 13, 2022.
There have been rumours that Mayweather and Deji are about to square off, but the date of the exhibition on November 13 has now been made public. The event will be held in the Coca-Cola Arena, which has a capacity of 17,000 spectators, and is being organised by Global Titans Fight Series, who also promoted Mayweather’s fight with Moore.
Floyd Mayweather vs Deji: Mayweather’s fighting career
Mayweather, 45, retired from competitive boxing in 2017 after defeating UFC fighter Conor McGregor to improve to 50-0, but he has since made tens of millions of dollars through entertaining exhibition fights. Before taking on YouTuber Logan Paul last year and his former sparring partner Don Moore in May, “Money” knocked out Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa a year after his retirement.

Floyd Mayweather vs Deji: Deji’s Fighting Career
Deji, the brother of YouTuber KSI, defeated Yusef “Fousey” Erakat last month on the undercard of his brother’s event to earn his first boxing victory. Deji lost his first three fights at the professional level, getting knocked out by models Vinnie Hacker and Jake Paul in 2018 and 2021, respectively. He then lost his third battle this year to fellow YouTuber Alex Wassabi by split decision.

Deji and Mayweather’s Response to the Fixture
Deji in a press release said that,
“Huge thanks to Global Titans and my team for creating this incredible opportunity. It’s a privilege to be headlining this phenomenal spectacle in Dubai, against the all-time great Floyd Mayweather. This is going to be fun!”
Mayweather responded to the fixture by saying that,
“I am delighted to bring this incredible boxing experience to Dubai. Global Titans will give fans an unrivalled boxing match with a huge undercard. It is an honour to be a part of such an iconic event in an iconic city, and I would like to thank the Global Titans team for reaching out to me and giving back so much to the sport I love.”
