Earlier today, Australia canceled the Afghanistan Tour which was supposed to take place in March 2024. The three-ODI series was planned to be hosted by the United Arab Emirates, the unofficial venue of the Afghan Cricket Board. Naveen-ul-Haq has played in two matches this season, one against the Scorchers and the other against the Hurricanes. He has played in 7 ODIs and 22 T20Is for the Afghans in his career so far. Immediately after the tweet by Naveen, one of the most sought-after all-rounders in the world, Rashid Khan expressed his bitterness. He tweeted to keep politics from cricket. He added that he will be considering his future in the tournament strongly.
