The India vs New Zealand white-ball series is just about to complete with just a single game remaining. India won the T20I series that witnessed two of the three games hindered by rain. Subsequently, New Zealand trumped in the first ODI, however, rain returned as the spoilsport in the second ODI as well washing the match away. Now, the third and final ODI match is scheduled at the Hagley Oval, in Christchurch. The stadium replaced the Lancaster Park in Christchurch as the international venue in 2011, the latter being severely damaged due to the February 2011 earthquake.

Hagley Oval Stadium: Seating Capacity

The Hagley Oval stadium has the capacity to have 20,000 spectators simultaneously. Incidentally, the New Zealand management has confirmed that the stadium is booked fully for the last India vs New Zealand ODI match on November 30.

Boundary Length

The boundary dimensions of the Hagley Oval stadium are 65 meters and 70 meters respectively, as opposed to the irregular dimensions of the Eden Park Stadium.

Pitch Details

Following the trend of other New Zealand venues, Hagley Oval also offers a batting-friendly pitch. The track offers swift bounce throughout the match. However, the track here also offers some movement to the pacers in the early overs of the game.
