Amsterdam: PSV, and Ajax continue their winning streak. PSV defeated Go-Ahead Eagles while Ajax destroyed FC Groningen. However, The 2017 champions Feyenoord ended in a goalless draw against Heerenveen. On the other hand, AZ Alkmaar, Twente, and Excelsior also kept their winning streak.

PSV and Ajax win in seven-goal thrillers in their Matchday 2 Encounters
Amsterdam: PSV defeated Deveneter-based Go Ahead Eagles in a seven-goal thriller. PSV clinched the victory by a margin of 5-2. PSV started the goal galore in the third minute with Luuk de Jong sending a Cody Gagkpo to cross straight into the net. However, the Isaac Linberg Eagles equalized in the thirteenth minute. Ajax Amsterdam on the other hand sunk FC Groningen mercilessly. Ajax. Former Spur Steven Bergwijn started the account for Ajax in the fourth minute. Groningen equalized the match pretty soon in the tenth minute. Manchester United target Anthony found the net in the 28th minute and put Ajax ahead. While, AZ Alkmaar beat Sparta Rotterdam in an engaging match by 3-2. Vito van Crooj hit two goals for Ssparta. Pavlidiz, de Vit, Kerkez scored for Alkmaar. Newcomers Excelsior are to a flying start. The red-Blacks defeated Vitesse 3-1 to win the match. Reda Kharkouch scored twice while Kenzo hit the third one.
