India: Rohit Sharma (264)

Ro-hit-man Sharma Scored 264 runs off 173 balls against Sri Lanka in 2014. This is also the highest-ever ODI score by a player. His innings included 33 boundaries and 9 sixes against the Sri Lankan bowling line-up.

New Zealand: Martin Guptill (237*)

Martin Guptill scored 237 runs off 163 balls against the West Indies in the ICC 2015 ODI World Cup Quarterfinals. This is the highest score by any player in an ODI World Cup. The innings comprised 24 boundaries and 11 sixes.

West Indies: Chris Gayle (215)

The champion, Chris Gayle, scored 215 runs off 147 balls against Zimbabwe in the 2015 ODI World Cup. This was the first-ever double century by a player in the ODI World Cup. Gayle’s innings included 10 boundaries and 16 sixes.

Pakistan: Fakhar Zaman (210*)

Fakhar Zaman scored 210 runs off 156 balls against Zimbabwe in 2018. It was the fourth ODI of the Pakistan tour of the Zimbabwe series. His innings included 24 boundaries and 5 sixes.

Zimbabwe: Charles Coventry (194*)

The Zimbabwe cricketer, Charles Coventry, scored 194 runs off 156 balls against Bangladesh. His innings included 16 boundaries and 7 sixes but surprisingly, they lost the match.

Sri Lanka: Sanath Jayasuriya (189)

The Sri Lankan legend, Sanath Jayasuriya, scored 189 runs against India in the 2020 Champions Trophy Final. One of the most interesting facts about this match was that they bowled out India for just 54 runs, which is also India’s lowest-ever ODI score.

South Africa: Gary Kirsten (188*)

The only South African to win an ODI World Cup (as a coach) scored 188 runs against the UAE in the 1996 ODI World Cup. His innings consisted of 13 boundaries and 4 sixes.

Australia: Shane Watson (185)

The Australian all-rounder, Shane Watson, scored 185 runs against Bangladesh off just 96 balls. They were chasing a total of 229 runs, and Watson helped Australia achieve the target in just 26 overs. He hit 15 fours and 15 sixes in the match and also took a wicket while bowling.

England: Ben Stokes (182)

Recently, in an ODI series against New Zealand, Ben Stokes scored 182 runs off 124 balls. He just loves playing against New Zealand and smashing boundaries for fun. In this inning, he smashed 15 fours and 9 sixes.

Ireland: Paul Sterling (177)

The Irish best batsman, Paul Sterling, scored 177 runs off 134 balls against Canada. This inning took place in 2010 in Toronto, where he bashed the Canadian bowlers for 21 fours and 5 sixes.

The Afghani batsman, Ibrahim Zadran, scored 162 runs off 138 balls against the Lankan bowlers. It took place in the Afghanistan-Sri Lanka series in 2020. Well, this massive innings went to vein, and Sri Lanka won the match in the last over with 4 wickets left.
