Andy Murray saves 5 MPs to defeat Lehecka, reaches Qatar Open final

The marathon man has not only reached his first ATP final since June last year, but he will be playing his fifth Doha final too.

Scottish star Andy Murray has displayed a praiseworthy performance, saving himself from a brink of a defeat against Jiri Lehecka to reach the Qatar Open final. The crowd cheered loudly for him as the Briton roared with delight to secure the final berth. Now he is waiting for the result of the second ongoing semi-final match between former world number one Daniil Medvedev and second seed Felix Auger-Aliassime.

He was asked how he fought back after the match, to which the 35-year-old said, “I don’t know- that was one of the most amazing turnarounds I’ve had in my career.

I have no idea how I managed to turn that one round, to be honest. I will enjoy this evening and hopefully put on a good performance tomorrow.” Also Read: Serena Williams’ Husband Alexis Ohanian Discloses Why He Got Three Armenian Carpets For Daughter Olympia
