The Milwaukee Bucks has declared Giannis Antetokounmpo, a two- questionable for tonight’s game against the Miami Heat. Last February 16, during a game against the Chicago Bulls, Antetokounmpo suffered a wrist injury. Giannis Antetokounmpo only participated in 20 seconds of the 2022–23 All-Star game. Is Giannis Antetokounmpo Playing against Miami Heat?
The Greek Freak can be difficult to keep out of the action for an extended period. A wrist injury would often keep an athlete out for several weeks, but Giannis Antetokounmpo seems to have an entirely different mindset and work ethic.
The Greek international took part in team drills on Thursday. And while they didn’t seem much different from his restricted Wednesday practises. They listed him as ‘doubtful’ on the injury report. And will need to be evaluated closer to game time on Friday against the Heat.
Even if he misses tonight’s game, the 28-year-old would not be resting for very long because the MVP race is so close this season and practically every contender has improved since last month.
Immediately following the All-Star game, the “Greek Freak” travelled to New York to undergo more wrist testing. Despite the fact that the X-rays came back negative, he will probably be out for a few more days. The Milwaukee Bucks will err on the side of caution and hold off on putting him in until he is fully recovered.
