Dallas Cowboys’s left tackle Tyron Smith suffered a severe injury in August 2022.
Tyler Smith Injury Update
Smith suffered an avulsion fracture in his knee which will keep the player on the sideline until late Early January. The player might be out for the rest of the remaining NFL season looking at the severity of the injury. This injury news is a very unfortunate situation for the coach of the Dallas Cowboys as the coach has to look for a new left tackle that can be as effective on the field as Tyron Smith is, for Cowboys. It will be very tough as the squad is filled with young inexperienced players that may take some time to reach the level of the veteran. Luckily, the worrisome coach is now at ease as the young pro bowler, Zack Martin and many more have taken up the task and have held the offensive line quite successful in the absence of the veteran.

When will Tyron Smith return to the Cowboys?
In November, Dallas Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones told 105.3 The Fan that the star veteran is gonna return to the field in 3 or 4 weeks. This news gives the fans some hope. On December 2, 2022, GM Jerry Jones gave an update on Smith’s injury in his weekly appearance on 105.3 The Fan. The Cowboys owner told that upon the return of the veteran he would be the first-choice LT in the offensive lineup. The Cowboys veteran is to return sooner despite the severity of the injury which is very happy news and a major boost for the Dallas Cowboys.
