The point guard is one of the most important positions in basketball. Scoring is almost impossible without them because they make most of the games for the team. When we talk about the best point guard, players like Stephen Curry, Damian Lillard, and Kyrie Irving pop into our minds. Similarly, Myles Turner believes Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton is the best point guard in the NBA.
Indiana Pacers Myles Turner was asked about whether Haliburton is the best point guard in the NBA, and this is what he said:
“Tyrese Haliburton is the best point guard I have seen in the past 4-5 years.”
Haliburton made his NBA debut with the Sacramento Kings after getting picked in the 2020 NBA draft. One season later, he was traded mid-season to the Pacers and is now representing them.
If we look at his stats over the years, he has improved significantly. He averaged 13.0 points and 5.3 assists per game in his debut season. In the ongoing season, he averages 23.6 points and 12.6 assists per game. Without a doubt, he has improved and proved to be one of the best point guards.
