Edwards began his NBA career in 2020 after getting picked by the Timberwolves in the draft. He was the first overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft and has proven his worth.
In his first season, he played 72 games and averaged 19.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. He had an impressive season, and the team knew he had something special. Since then, he has improved his performances season by season.
This season, he is averaging 26.4 points, 5.0 assists, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game. He is averaging a career-high performance this season, and undoubtedly, he is a star.
