Austin Rivers has come to terms with the Minnesota Timberwolves for a one-year deal.
Provided his skill set, he will provide the Timberwolves with a strong perimeter defense and an arsenal of ranged attacks. He is an exceptional shooter from 3-point range.
Rivers will now be teammates with Anthony Edwards, D’Angelo Russell and Jaylen Nowell.
The newly acquired PG seems to be the ideal replacement for NBA star Patrick Beverley, who has now been traded to Utah Jazz.

Austin Rivers, as a point-guard, is a very talented player. He boasts of an incredible 34.2% field-goal percentage from beyond the arc.
Further, Rivers is an exceptional perimeter defender and is very capable of fizzling out attacks and successfully converting them into counter-attacks.

Rivers has also played for the Pelicans, Rockets, Clippers, Knicks, Wizards and Nuggets in his 10 NBA seasons.
