Every Mercedes fan has been waiting for their 2024 season car (W15). The reason was that Toto Wolff said, “Anthony Davison was driving Melbourne in the sim, and the car felt like a car for the first time in two years!” Now, after the pre-season testing, their driver, Hamilton, has his say on the 2024 season car. So, let us see what Lewis Hamilton said on W15.
Lewis Hamilton on W15 said:
“We have improved with this year’s car, and it is much nicer to drive!’
He also mentioned:
“We still have progress to make, of course. But this is a good foundation for us to build on.”

When Hamilton drove the car on day two of the pre-season testing, he was the third fastest on the grid. He finished the lap in 1:31.086, which is a few milliseconds ahead of defending champion Max Verstappen (1:31.344).
The past two seasons for Mercedes have been disappointing, but things look good this time. It looks like the decision to revamp the car has worked so far. Moreover, Hamilton has promised the team and fans that he will give his best for them this year.

Lewis Hamilton said:
“The focus is first getting the team back to where we once were. We have had this difficult couple of years, which have been grounding for us; it has helped us to regroup and look at things.”
