It is the second race of the season, and as usual, Max Verstappen had a dominant run. Not just Verstappen but his partner, Sergio Perez, had a good run. Both Ferrari drivers also had a smooth operation. One by finishing on the podium and the second with a successful appendicitis surgery. Apart from that, several moments took place during the race. So, let us look at the F1 2024 moments (Saudi Arabian Grand Prix edition).

3. Oliver Bearman made his dream debut
Imagine being 18 years old and getting a call from the Ferrari team to race in an F1 Grand Prix. Moreover, getting only one practice section, qualifying P11, finishing P7, and winning the Driver of the Day.
Yes, all this is not imagination because Oliver Bearman did it in the Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. He is now 10th in the F1 championship with six points and might be ahead of a few drivers by the end of the season.

4. Kevin Magnussen snatched the title of ‘Ministry of Defence’ from Checo for a race
This might sound funny, but Magnussen held seven cars behind him throughout the race. The reason was to help his teammate Nico Hulkenberg finish in points.
Magnussen had to serve a ten-second penalty, and finishing in points was difficult for him. Haas didn’t opt for a Ferrari strategy and did it smartly. Magnussen finished tenth and helped the team secure one crucial point, which might be influential by the end of the season.
5. Gasly started the race to end it in a lap
Due to a gearbox failure, Pierre Gasly had to retire the car after the first lap. He had to abandon the race in the very first lap.
