“The world knows I won that fight!” says Sean Strickland on his fight with du Plessis

UFC Universe got its new UFC middleweight champion in UFC 297 as Dricus du Plessis defeated Sean Strickland to win the title. Du Plessis won the title fight by split decision and ended Strickland’s title reign. But a few fans and personalities, including Dana White, believe Strickland defended his title.

Recently, Strickland talked about the results of his fight with du Plessis.

“I won that fight; the world knows I won that fight!”

He also mentioned, “The only reason he took a round from me is because I couldn’t see.”

Not just him but also Dana White said:

Undoubtedly, the decision by the judges has brought a huge debate to the table. If we look at the stats of Strickland vs. du Plessis, Sean Strickland is the clear winner.
