“Israel Adesanya get you’re a** back in the UFC!” Dricus du Plessis openly challenges Adesanya for the title

UFC Universe got its new UFC middleweight champion in UFC 297 as Dricus du Plessis defeated Sean Strickland to win the title. He won the title fight by split decision and began his title reign at the UFC. Moments later, du Plessis was asked who he would love to face, and his answer was ‘The Stylebender’ Israel Adesanya.

Dricus du Plessis openly challenged Adesanya by saying:

“Israel Adesanya, get you’re a** back in the UFC!”

Here is the complete statement:

“There was a guy that tried to take my shine but lost his. Now I have his shine. He didn’t get into the cage tonight, but Israel Adesanya, get you’re a** back in the UFC.”

Since 2019, Israel Adesanya has been one of the hot topics in the UFC. But after his loss to Sean Strickland, he hasn’t competed in the MMA ring.

The reason is that Adesanya announced his break from the UFC. This resulted in no title rematch between him and Strickland. As a result, Dricus du Plessis got a chance for the title as he won the UFC middleweight title eliminator fight.

Today he begins his UFC middleweight title reign and would love to face Adesanya in his upcoming fight.

Will Adesanya accept his challenge because, a few weeks ago, he mentioned, “I can’t wait to unleash again!”
