This past weekend in London, rising lightweight contender Paddy Pimblett defeated Jordan Leavitt via second-round submission to earn his third UFC victory. The Liverpool native anticipates being a pay-per-view draw for his next bout after being 3-0 with the organization with a tonne of hype behind him.
After winning on Saturday night, Pimblett declared, “I know for a certainty now that I’ll be fighting on pay-per-views with Jon Anik, Joe Rogan, and [Daniel Cormier] commentating.

Will we really see Paddy on PPV?
As it turns out, Dana White, the president of the UFC, thinks Paddy “The Baddy” might be correct. Following the season premiere of Contender Series this week, White addressed the media.
“To talk about championship stuff now it’s a little too soon, but he’s got that Conor McGregor vibe,” White said of Pimblett. “When he walks, when he’s in the arena, the way that the fans receive him, the way that the media covers him. The way that the people who search for content. “I think what we do next is we take him to either Boston or New York and he ends up on pay-per-view and then you bring him to Vegas.” said Dana.
Pimblett has received Performance of the Night bonuses for each of his three UFC victories. The current record of the former Cage Warriors FC champion is 19-3.
