Amidst the jubilant atmosphere, William Karlsson, known for his exceptional skills and impressive performance on the ice, took center stage with a speech that delighted both fans and onlookers.
The video, shared on various social media platforms, depicts Karlsson in high spirits, clearly reveling in the celebratory moment. Despite his apparent state of inebriation, Karlsson’s speech exuded charm, charisma, and an endearing sense of humor.
In his inebriated speech, William Karlsson let his true Wild Bill out. He appreciated the fans who have been there since day one. Karlsson also shared about Vegas’ first-ever NHL game against the Arizona Coyotes in 2017 when Golden Knights came out successful. He said that the fans have been here since “day f*****g one”, vs Coyotes. His speech came to an end as he introduced the Conn Smythe winner Jonathan Marchessault after which an organizer snatched away Wild Bill’s mic. Karlsson joined the Vegas Golden Knights during the 2017 Expansion Draft from the Columbus Blue Jackets. CBJ allowed Wild Bill out for first-round and second-round picks in 2019. He donned the Knights’ jersey in a total of 526 (438 Regular Season games and 88 Playoff games) times. In his VGK career, William Karlsson has accumulated 150 goals and 220 assists combining a total of 370 points in the Playoffs and the Regular Season. The 2017-18 Lady Byng Memorial Trophy is also a major feather of achievement of Karlsson.
