Date, time, and venue
The IPL Auction 2024 will take place at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on December 19, 2024. The auction will begin at 1:00 p.m. (Indian time), which is around 2:30 p.m. in Dubai.

A maximum of 77 players can be picked in the IPL auction. The Gujarat Giants have the biggest purse in the 2024 IPL auction. On the other hand, the Lucknow Super Giants have the smallest purse in the 2024 IPL auction. The Kolkata Knight Riders are expected to be the busiest team.

Total Players
Out of 333 players, 214 are Indians and 119 are overseas players. Shardul Thakur, Shahrukh Khan, Manish Pandey, Shivam Mavi, and Karthik Tyagi are some of the Indian names that are expected to go big under the hammer.
On the other hand, it will be raining money for overseas players. At least three overseas players are expected to get a bid of more than 10 crore. Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummings, Wanindu Hasaranga, Rachin Ravindra, Travis Head, and many others will possibly have a great day on the 19th of December.
