Following the 2022 FIFA World Cup, legendary forward Cristiano Ronaldo has officially found a new team, joining Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr. Now that clubs have returned from the World Cup break and domestic play has resumed, the question of when Ronaldo will start playing for Al Nassr arises. Ronaldo isn’t guaranteed to start right away for Al Nassr at the age of 37. He might, however, soon sign up for his new club.
When will Cristiano Ronaldo make his Al Nassr debut?
After representing Portugal at the 2022 World Cup, Cristiano Ronaldo is well-rested and will soon be prepared to make his Al Nassr debut.
The superstar Portuguese player can register with the club after the transfer window opens on January 1 and is then eligible to play. However, because of an incident that occurred several months ago, he won’t have his debut in easy way.
In April, after losing at Goodison Park while representing Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo broke a supporter of Everton’s phone. Ronaldo was given a two-game suspension following an investigation by the English Football Association (FA), which was made public on November 17. Ronaldo’s suspension, however, was never served because he left for the World Cup and then left Manchester United. According to a number of sources, the Saudi Professional League will uphold the suspension, so Ronaldo will miss the first two games in which he is qualified to play.
Ronaldo’s debut was delayed furtherÂ
If true, that indicates he won’t play against Al Ta’ee on January 5 and later on against Al Shabab, who are currently leading the league, on January 14. With the two clubs vying for the top spot in the table, it’s likely that the match against Al Shabab will decide who wins the Saudi Pro League. Instead, on January 21 at home against Ettifaq, Ronaldo will be able to make his Al Nassr debut. Read More: Further delay in Cristiano Ronaldo’s debut for Al-NassrÂ
However, On Thursday, the Saudi Pro League team announced that their game against Al-Ta’ee had been postponed due to a power outage at Mrsool Park Stadium brought on by intense rain. If the Al Tae’e’s game cannot be moved to Friday, Ronaldo won’t make his Saudi Super Cup debut until Al Ittihad’s semifinal match on January 25.
