“This Brazilian duo does a lot of trash talk during the game!” says Sergio Aguero

Sledging or taunting is one of the aspects of sports that has been happening since its establishment. Almost every sport has some taunting moments on and off the field. Similarly, football is one of the sports that witnesses heated moments every game. Most likely, it is the defenders and strikers who exchange more trash-talking. Looking at all of these on the current field, Argentine footballer Sergio Aguero believes this Brazilian duo does a lot compared to other players.

Sergio Aguero said:

“Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo say a lot of things to mock other players mid-game!”

In case you missed: “I’ve slept more times with Ronaldo than my wife!” says Roberto Carlos

Here is the complete statement:

Vinicius and Rodrygo say a lot of things in the middle of the game and make fun of other players, but nobody talks about it. But for once, if you say something back to them, the world knows what will happen to that player and what card will be drawn.”

Vinicius and Rodrygo have spent most of their professional football careers playing together. Since 2019, they have represented Real Madrid in club football. Whereas for their national side (Brazil), they have been together since 2017 (Brazil U17 side).

Vinicius and Rodrygo are some of the footballers who have faced racism during football games as well as on social media. Moreover, they openly talked about this problem in the media. As a result, Aguero mentioned that ‘nobody talks about it’ because the fans and media will show them (Vini and Rodrygo) as heroes.
