Brighton brings more signings ahead of proposed leaving of star players

Brighton Hove and Albion have made into Europe for the first time in the club’s history. With two games left to play, Brighton are 6th with 61 points. Key players Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo are planning to leave for huge signings in the summer. Ahead of the same, Brighton has brought in new additions to replace them.

Brighton has signed attacker Joao Pedro from Watford for 30 million euros record fee. The 21-year-old from Brazil has agreed to join the Gulls when the summer break opens. Additionally, Mahmoud Dahoud has been in touch with Brighton. Fabrizio Romano reports that the has completed his medicals in London already. Dahoud joined Dortmund from Monchengladbach six years ago. Dahoud has not been very key in the Dortmund XI due to constant injuries and inconsistent plays. The 27-year-old has fallen out with Edin Terzic and spent a good deal of time in bench. Last but not the least, from Fabrizio’s reports, veteran James Milner could also join Brighton in the summer. The Liverpool defender’s contract expires this summer, opening him for transfer. James Milner has a good deal of experience with the Reds – helping them win domestic as well as European competitions. At 37 years old, he can be a great asset as the Gulls look forward to European football. Also, His addition would ease up Roberto de Zerbi as Milner could be a mentor to up and coming midfielders.
