Joao Cancelo is a Portuguese professional footballer who currently plays for Premier League club Manchester City. He plays in the full-back or wing-back position for his club. Cancelo has one of the most emerging players in recent years as he has performed exceptionally well for both club and country. He joined Manchester City in 2019 and has been performing incredibly well for them to date. During the previous season, Cancelo and club manager Pep Guardiola had some differences over his lack of playing time because of which the player was sent on a loan to the Bundesliga club FC Bayern Munich. If they are not able to make the signing happen then Barca would try to sign in Ivan Fresneda who has always been an alternative option in the list for the club.
