But has the Premier League dropped its quality?
Looking at all the above statements, the English League might have dropped quality. But we donโt think so. The League has evolved, and speed is one of the common aspects. Earlier, dribbling was one of the most crucial skills a footballer needed.
When we talk about defending, yes, it has been poor. A Premier League game rarely has a clean sheet. But this has improved the attacking approach of teams. Not every club is weak at defending. English clubs like Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool are known for attack and defense.
Undoubtedly, the Premier League is different compared to the past, but it hasnโt dropped in quality. The league has evolved, and the quality has improved over time.
